Stainless Steel Refrigerators

Frustrated because magnets won't stick to your stainless steel refrigerator? We have many people calling to ask if GelGems® will work to decorate their stainless steel refrigerators, so we thought we would address that for you right here...

GelGems® are safe for any non-porous surface. Stainless Fridge manufacturers will not officially commit to say whether the surface of stainless steel is non-porous or not. We can't officially commit and tell you that GelGems® are perfectly safe for these surfaces. What we can tell you is that several of our customers have experimented with them and told us that they do work and have not damaged the surfaces of their stainless steel refrigerators.
